Technical Support Engineer Cooling D/A/CH (f/m)

Key Tasks:
  • Provide technical support to cooling customers and prospects (phone, mail)
  • Maintain customers, sales support and technical activities/ data using salesforce CRM system
  • Support internal commercial and sales staff in technical issues
  • Working together in an international team (Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Germany)
  • Focus on high end electronics (ADAP KOOL system) and commercial refrigeration
  • Well trained in abstract thinking
  • Strong ability to lead a customer on the phone in order to solve his technical issue
  • Service customers within Germany, Switzerland and Austria
  • Fast and flexible learning skills (new products)
  • Provide trainings - internal and external (rare)
  • Correction of translations of literature from English into German
Success Criteria:
  • Prior technical experience working with customers within refrigeration / air conditioning applications (5 years plus)
  • Good technical knowledge in typical refrigeration / air conditioning applications like e.g. chillers, heat pumps and commercial refrigeration as total
  • Good technical understanding of Industrial Refrigeration
  • “Staatlich geprüfter Kältetechniker”, “Kältemeister”, Bachelor Degree in Engineering or “Diplom Ingenieur” (with refrigeration focus is considered as a plus) wanted
  • Strong communication skills (mainly via phone).
  • Business / technically fluent in English language is essential (speaking and writing)
  • Strong personal resilience, highly motivated team player with a strong personal drive
  • Good explaining skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong team player with an analytical, proactive approach - mind-set on the customer and to support sales
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
  • Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Shares expertise with others
  • Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service ; Meets commitments
