We are looking for a Field System Engineer in order to enable the regional sales team to deploy our Cooling strategy, and provide speed and momentum for fulfilling customized solution within major OEM-actors in the HVAC & Refrigeration business.

Within this position you are responsible for providing a depth technical support for the Heat Exchanger Product Portfolio to the OEM Key Accounts and indirect channel customers.
You coordinate activities with Global and Regional Key Account Managers & Sales Managers.
Provide component/system expertise, trouble shooting capability and overall support in the selection, qualification and application of the Heat Exchanger Product Portfolio to customers and colleagues. In addition you seek for new opportunities which will support our ambitious growth plans.
Exchange and discuss system and application know how in a regional team of experienced and professional Field Service Engineers.
Support and initiate improvements of existing products and development of new products by providing critical application knowledge obtained in the field to the organization.

Areas of responsibility
  • Coordination of technical, quality or sales activities with Global & Regional Key Account Managers and Indirect Channel Sales Managers to support overall business objectives
  • Identification of critical technical sales factors in customer projects and propose/drive activities to achieve them
  • Customer guidance to ensure proper selection, qualification and application of Heat Exchangers
  • be the technical responsible for Brazed plates heat exchangers (BPHE-MPHE) and micro channels heat exchangers (MCHE) in the region
  • Technical Key Account support during development and in serial production
  • Maintain and cultivate customer relationships with emphasis on key decision makers
Key tasks
  • Provide technical support for Key Accounts and other customers via phone and on site
  • Main customer contact for all application & product related questions
  • Keep focus on customer needs while also identifying new opportunities
  • provide speed and momentum for fulfilling customized solution
  • Coordinate technical decisions with factories, Account and Sales Managers
  • Frequently visit customers to improve overall visibility and customer loyalty
  • Assist in qualification testing at customer's laboratory facilities
  • Support development of technical sales material
  • Prepare and run customer’s trainings and internal trainings on Heat Exchanger application as well as supporting new product introductions
Success criteria
  • Several years of experience in HVAC/R in similar roles
  • Bachelor in engineering/science – mechanical/thermodynamic preferred
  • good ability of communication both internally as well as with customers
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • self-driven & very good self-organized
  • good English and German communication skills (both written and spoken)
